FCCE LICENSES OVER 1000 HOURS OF PROGRAMMING WORLDWIDE

Amsterdam – Following the launch of its new multi-genre slate of programming at MIPCOM 2010, FCCE begins 2011 with a raft of new deals in more than 40 territories totaling over 1000 hours of programming.
 
In Europe: CANAL+ Scandinavia signed a contract extension for 52 hours of FCCE’s weekly program Hollywood Buzz slated to air in 2011 and 2012.
TV2 Norway signed a one-year license renewal agreement for FCCE’s flagship program Films & Stars. SPI signed up for 20 hours of Star Profiles for its Filmbox Channel in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Leading movie channel N Film in Poland renewed its contract for 26 hours of Hollywood Buzz for the third consecutive year. And RTL Klub in Hungary will air 6 episodes of the entertainment series Mentalisn’t.
Spain’s new movie channel Cine Premier kicks off with 52 episodes of Hollywood Buzz in 2011.
MTV Russia and STAR TV in Belgium both licensed one year of FCCE’s Entertainment Newsfeed, representing around 50 hours of content each. Pop TV (Slovenia) part of the CME Group also licensed one year of the Newsfeed service for its new movie channel to be launched in July.
 
In the Middle East: ERTU (Egyptian TV & Radio) acquired over 70 hours of FCCE content including Films & Stars, Mentalisn’t, Travel Snacks and FCCE’s Newsfeed. Iranian broadcaster Gem TV in Iran also signed for the Newsfeed and short-form programming.
 
In Africa: Weekly programs Films & Stars and Action Zone have been licensed under a one-year extension deal until the end of 2011 to My TV for broadcast in Nigeria and Ghana. My TV also signed a one-year deal for FCCE’s newest and African co-produced programs Spark Africa, Bottom of the Pyramid and Films & Stars Africa, totaling over 100 hours.
Kenya’s Roma Agency inked a deal for FCCE’s Entertainment Newsfeed to be displayed on buses throughout Kenya.
Moroccan news channel Medisat 1 signed up for FCCE’s Entertainment Newsfeed.
 
In Latin America: For FCCE, Susan Bender finalized a deal with E! Entertainment Latin America to air Spotlight On. VMe in the USA has taken FCCE’s end of year special: Films & Stars of 2010.
FCCE’s weekly children’s magazine Kids Flix will continue its broadcast throughout 2011 across Latin America with LAPTV. And DLA Inc. has acquired over 30 hours of FCCE programming including the weekly video game magazine Game Faqs and Star Profiles.

In Asia: FCCE Asia Pacific licensed over 200 hours of content including Films & Stars, Hollywood Buzz and Action Zone in the region. Singaporean MediaCorp’s Channel 5 just renewed its contract for Films & Stars Asia. Malaysia’s NTV7 also licensed Films & Stars Asia to air on its TV network and digital media platforms.
Action Zone is slated to air on Malaysia’s 8TV in a deal with Media Prima Group. TVB in Hong-Kong acquired 6 episodes of Mentalisn’t.
FCCE’s Entertainment Newsfeed has been picked up in the following territories in Asia:
In Singapore – by OMY-SG (online mobile for the young) Singapore’s first bilingual-friendly news and interactive web portal created by Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH).
In Malaysia – by ALT MEDIA for its newly-launched video portal tonton.com.my, and:
In India – by NDTV Good Times Channel as well as Twilight Entertainment.
Fashion One which broadcasts internationally across multiple platforms, licensed over 100 hours of FCCE programming, including the Newsfeed and Travel Snacks.

FCCE TO ATTEND NATPE 2011

FCCE will be attending the upcoming NATPE content market and conference taking place January 24-26, 2011 in Miami, USA.

FCCE delegates will include CCO Justus A.G. Verkerk along with Michael Aldrich, who recently joined FCCE as a Sales Manager for the Americas.

Amsterdam – FCCE end of year special ‘The Films and Stars of 2010′ has been licensed around the globe to broadcasters across 15 countries. ‘The Films and Stars of 2010′, developed and produced by FCCE, is a one hour review of the year covering the world of film and Hollywood.

The program features FCCE exclusive footage and interviews. It captures the major awards ceremonies such as the Oscars and Golden Globes, as well as the most renowned film festivals around the world such as Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Rome and all of 2010′s major movie premieres and cinema releases. Combined with special access to leading names in show business and ’behind the scenes’.
