The secret of Mount Ararat
THE SECRET ON MOUNT ARARAT: THE FINAL QUEST FOR NOAH’S ARK will reveal the truth behind the massive wooden structure that was found in 2010 by a local mountain guide and an international expedition team on Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey. This enormous structure is believed to have played an instrumental role in ancient history and this discovery could change our beliefs forever.
During the two expeditions to be undertaken in 2011, a series of documentaries and a live broadcast together with 800 hours of raw footage shot over the past 9 years will be produced, for broadcast and cross media purposes. These programmes will contain scientific evidence and explanations about the discovery of the large wooden structure, found in 2 parts at a height of 4.500m. Wood samples have been radiocarbon dated to be approximately 5000 years old. Is it fact or is it fiction?
Since 1829 many scientists and explorers from all over the world have dedicated their lives searching for the Ark of Noah. In close collaboration with the Turkish Government, multiple universities together with a joint Chinese, Dutch and Turkish expedition team called Motifi will undertake a number of scientific expeditions to prove the origin of the massive wooden structure. The final expedition will take place in early 2012. Then, in a ‘groundbreaking’ live global broadcast the structure will be revealed to the world.
These Programmes will be available after the live broadcast and will include:
- The Scientific Evidence of the Discovery
- Interviews with experts
- The Consequences of the Discovery
Walter Tiemessen, Director at Promotie Media BV states: ‘If it is not what we think it is…. then what is it? We will undertake the whole operation in a scientific way. After almost 8 years of research and 800 hours of TV footage, we think it is time to reveal our discoveries. We are all only interested in the truth about the wooden structure on Mount Ararat.’
Justus Verkerk, CCO at FCCE Distribution comments: ‘It is a wild and exciting story, but for us there is enough scientific evidence to take this very seriously.
